Saturday Picks: Hamiltonian and Project 4 Openings Tonight
Hamiltonian will open it’s first show tonight since its unfortunate flooding last month with two solo exhibitions by Fellows Joyce Y-J Lee (Passages) and Matthew Mann (Buddy Pictures). Support Hamiltonian’s return by coming out for this!
Nearby Project 4 also opens a new photography show by Georg Kuettinger, a German artist for whom this is his first solo U.S. exhibit. Large-scale photographs in a modest space should be cool.
Hamiltonian’s Passages and Buddy Pictures will run from February 11 - March 10, 2012, with opening reception Saturday, February 11, 2012, 7-9 pm. There will also be an artist talk with Matthew Mann and Joyce Y-J Lee on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at 7pm.
Project 4’s Georg Kuettinger show is open through March 17, with opening reception Saturday, February 11, 6:00-8:30 pm with the artist in attendance.
