Get Your Dragon On at The Textile Museum
In case you didn’t know, this year’s lunar new year ushered in the Year of the Water Dragon. The last Water Dragon year was in 1952! The Dragon is usually pretty feisty and fiery, but in a water year the Dragon is calmer and more pragmatic.
The Textile Museum in DC will be exhibiting Dragons, Nagas and Creatures of the Deep “a global selection of textiles depicting dragons and other fantastical creatures of legend.”
Runs through January 2013 at The Textile Museum, 2320 S Street, NW, Washington, DC. Open Tuesday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday 1 to 5 pm.
